San Gabriel

San Gabriel is a city in Los Angeles County. It is named after the mission San Gabriel Arcangel, founded by Juniperro Serra. the city grew outward front he mission and in 1852 became the original township of Los Angeles County. The city's motto is "A city with a Mission" and it is often called the "Birthplace" of the Los Angeles. The school district is one to be prideful of. Going from the bungalow classrooms to a beautiful two story campus, local private schools such as Gabrelino, and San Gabriel Mission High School/Elementary School are known for constantly soaring in high education. It is a very cozy community. The city is filled with art work on the sidewalk of drawing from students in the past. A very family friendly community with history, great restaurants, and events just steps away.
